Van 7 tot 9 februari 2024 verzamelden de aardappel, groente- en fruitsectoren zich in het bruisende Berlijn voor de jaarlijkse Fruit Logistica beurs, een onmisbaar evenement voor professionals van over heel de wereld. Met meer dan 2.770 exposanten die hun nieuwste producten, diensten en technologieën presenteerden, en meer dan 66.000 bezoekers uit maar liefst 145 verschillende landen, bevestigde de beurs opnieuw haar reputatie als hét toonaangevende platform voor de internationale groente- en fruithandel.
With more than 2,770 exhibitors showcasing their latest products, services, and technologies, and over 66,000 visitors from as many as 145 different countries, the fair once again confirmed its reputation as the leading platform for the international fruit and vegetable trade. The scale of the fair remains impressive, with 27 expansive halls filled with an abundance of colors, scents, and flavors.
Among the exhibitors were 31 Flemish suppliers of fruits, vegetables, potatoes, and fruit trees. Their presence not only emphasized the international appeal of the Flemish agricultural sector but also the significant role it plays in the global trade and distribution of fresh products. Throughout the three days of the fair, the aisles were bustling, and we noticed that visitors were able to find the VLAM booth. Participating companies were not only satisfied with the number of visitors but also with their quality.
In hall 27, where the VLAM booth was located, there was a constant mix of activity and enthusiasm from interested visitors. On Wednesday evening, the VLAM booth remained open longer, and there was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere among the Flemish exhibitors. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up and exchange experiences after a hectic day at the fair.

In addition to representatives from the Flemish Centre for Agriculture and Fisheries Marketing (VLAM), the federations Belgapom and Fresh Trade Belgium, the auction umbrella organization LAVA, and the Federation of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives (VBT) were also present at Fruit Logistica.
We are already looking forward to the next edition of Fruit Logistica, which will take place on February 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025.
